Post Olympic Post

You know - I just looked at the Yarn Harlot's site to see if she managed to finish her olympic project and hey she did steeks and all!!! She also said a few words: "Congratulations to everyone who finished, everyone who tried, and thanks to the fans who cheered us on. I'm so proud of everyone who dared to be a better knitter. Cheers!"

That's what I feel like. I dared to try and be a better knitter. I'm so proud of my Clapotis because I dared to keep trying instead of thinking that having two small girls and another on the way would make it too hard and I wouldn't bother. I learned a lesson. That I can knit quite a lot when I put my mind to it.

But anyway nuff said about he Olympics - Oh - Aside from saying I've been trying to get a good shot of me holding it out but my rumpled clothing or the background or something always lets me down. So I'll let it rest a mo and try again later. Oh and also you guys!! Wow 14 comments on the blocking clap post. I think its a record for the stripey tiger blog!! I'm so glad you liked it too.

But now regular programming resumes: Here is what I have been knitting P.O. (Post Olympics)

The red hearts is a swatch for a baby blanket for number three kiddo and the other is half a panta - see sidebar for the knitalong details. More on both of these little tid bits later. I'm off to look at the back of my eyelids. :-)
