The Fish Pocket Pillow

A way overdue baby gift is finally completed!!

It is my chenilled 'Fish Pocket' Pillow for baby Liam. He was born in April and I just finished it this morning. (Hopeless!)

I made it up, from go to wo and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. Thanks to my mum for help with the pillow idea (I was going to make a bag and got a little uninspired for a few months) Here is the front with a pocket that has an 'L' on it and the orange fishy is attached to a string sewn into the pocket so it doesnt get lost.


Here is the back showing the perfect orange buttons from my vintage button stash. I chose the colours to go with an undersea mural that Liam's mum Louise painted in his bedroom.


Here is the fish, close up with a little message that I wrote for Liam.


The best thing is I can CROSS IT OFF MY LIST!!! Only one more overdue baby gift to make then another that is not overdue yet. The gifts are overdue by the way not the babies!!!
